Planted in 2006, Tolay Vista Vineyards is a 50 acre Chardonnay vineyard located southeast of Petaluma, adjacent to the Tolay Lake Regional Park.  The vineyard is within both the  Petaluma Gap and Sonoma Coast AVA’s.

The site topography is gentle rolling with excellent Southwestern exposure.  Throughout the growing season, the vineyard is cooled by the Summer marine layer and prevailing winds off of San Pablo Bay.  Bud break is typically 1-2 weeks before valley floor vineyards and harvest is mid to late September.  The fruit exhibits wonderful minerality from the calcium rich soils and the extended hang times.
